Īnd a few with the Cessna around Santa Monica again. So I went into a new area, changed the time and let everything stabilize and all was good againĪnd just cause I like TE NorCal a lot as well. Open the Settings screen (2nd from right icon in top right corner of the XP11 screen) and select the Keyboard tab. I had 310 mb free Vram left and total Vram used was 7.7 GB (Gpu-Z) And lastly, I discovered a real challenge for Jack!Įverything following is 11.50b9, except as notedīut as I came in to land I hit the "blurries". I've also added a couple very similar screenshots from 11.41r1 for comparison. Notwithstanding that XPlane 11.50b9 is a beta, if the developer can get memory management sorted out ( I am pretty sure that they will) I think it will be a good option In Santa Monica, I did have a bad case of the blurries (free Vram issue) when I was landing but other wise it was good. And in answer to part a) Well I did get it down to 310 mb free Vram and at one point was able to pull it down to 1 fps, but it still chugged along Oh and a bit of Renaults "pixie dust" thrown in for good measure. I can only find a key to toggle the vertical on and off. This is if you are using the screenshot function within X-Plane (File menu - Take Screenshot, or keyboard shortcut ctrl. How can I assign keys to control up and down vertical speeds, I have set up keys for most of the autopilot, but cannot find any reference to vertical speed adjustment. Yes, screenshots should just get put automatically in the main X-Plane folder, titled screenshot1.png, screenshot2.png, etc. I used Reshade 4.6.1 Vulkan option, with a simple vibrance shader, and the clarity shader. Alternatively, Shift + Space, and upload your screenshots as artwork instead - nobody will create artwork for X-Plane 11. Jin Getting started and configuring X-Plane. lua parameters just for housekeeping purposes - shadows and the like.Īll screenshots are straight from the "V" key. The clouds are straight default XPlane and I have a few. I have assigned keyboard buttons to speed, heading, and altitude which work well except the altitude, unlike the other 2 that one does not scroll quickly when the keyboard button is held down.

So I have a couple plugins added as well - FWL, Avitab (real time mapping), ABC - a better camera. This is a bit heavy on the screenshots, but I wanted to see if a) I could stress test XPlane Vulkan enough to "break it" and b) could I get decent color fidelity using simple solutions.
